Fundraising, Giveback & Community Impact Statement
We want to make sure everyone understands the bigger purpose behind our fundraisers.
The funds we raise are not just for one event, one item, or one short-term need. These funds help us continue giving back to our athletes, families, programs, and community in real and meaningful ways.
Every fundraiser helps support the foundation of what we are building: a safe, affordable, accessible, diverse, family-centered program that uses tumbling, cheer, performance, fitness, mentorship, entrepreneurship, media, and community connection to help people grow mentally, physically, emotionally, socially, and professionally.
Who We Serve
Mile High Tumblers 5280 serves athletes and families from all walks of life, starting as young as 6 months old and continuing through youth, teens, young adults, adults, parents, alumni, and community members.
Our program is proudly diverse and community-centered. Right now, approximately 75% of our athletes are Black, while we continue to welcome Black, Brown, white, multiracial, immigrant, low-income, middle-income, higher-income, and all families who believe in helping youth and communities grow together.
We currently have 5+ adults actively connected to the team and program, and over the years, we have served and supported many youth, teens, adults, parents, athletes, performers, coaches, creatives, and community members through tumbling, cross-training, mentorship, performances, events, school partnerships, and community programming.

Family Support & Financial Relief
Many families are going through different financial situations right now. Some are dealing with job loss, reduced hours, higher living costs, transportation barriers, larger household needs, single-parent responsibilities, and the everyday pressure of trying to keep their children involved in something positive.
We have been doing our best to work with families through:
-
Discounted tuition
-
Payment support
-
Scholarship opportunities
-
Fundraising options
-
Partner support
-
MySpark applications
-
Transportation support
-
Medicaid-related resources where eligible
-
Community referrals
-
Sponsor and donor assistance
-
Program-based giveback
Some of our families have already applied for and received awards, scholarships, or support through programs such as MySpark, transportation assistance, and other partner resources. These are the stories and testimonials we want to continue highlighting because they show that this work is making a real difference.
When families stay connected, communicate, and complete the steps needed, we are better able to help them get support and stay involved.

Our Goal Moving Forward
Moving forward, one of our goals is to use these fundraisers to help current members with tuition and program costs so families can breathe, grow their accounts, and feel more supported throughout the year.
We also want to expand our scholarship and sponsorship reach by helping sponsor 10 or more student-athletes who may not otherwise be able to participate.
These student-athletes may have the talent, heart, discipline, and desire to grow, but their families may not have the financial ability to cover the full cost. We want to give them a chance to experience tumbling, build confidence, get stronger, stay active, stay connected, and use that confidence in school, sports, entrepreneurship, leadership, and life.

More Than Tumbling
Mile High Tumblers 5280 is more than a tumbling program.
We are building a one-stop-shop platform where athletes and families can receive support in multiple areas of life, including:
-
Tumbling and cheer
-
Sports cross-training
-
Fitness and body awareness
-
Mental and emotional wellness
-
Confidence building
-
Discipline and accountability
-
Teamwork and leadership
-
Mentorship
-
Life skills
-
Entrepreneurship
-
Branding and media
-
Performance opportunities
-
School and community connections
-
Career and job exposure
-
Family support and resources
Tumbling is the tool, but the mission is much bigger.
Through tumbling, athletes learn how to overcome fear, control their bodies, build strength, focus their minds, work with others, and believe in themselves. That confidence can carry over into school, sports, performing arts, leadership, careers, entrepreneurship, and everyday life.

Our Track Record
Mile High Tumblers 5280 has been officially operating since 2011, and Mile High Tumblers Foundation has been serving the community since 2013. Before the official businesses were formed, this work was already being built through coaching, performing, mentoring, community events, and youth development.
For over a decade, we have been showing that tumbling can become a pathway to opportunity.
Over the years, our work, coaching, mentorship, performances, and community connections have helped athletes and participants:
-
Build confidence and discipline
-
Make school sports teams
-
Improve body control, strength, flexibility, and coordination
-
Cross-train for cheer, football, basketball, soccer, dance, gymnastics, track, snow sports, and other activities
-
Grow into elite tumbling and performance skills
-
Participate in college pathways
-
Connect to Division I and Team USA-level opportunities
-
Perform on major sports and entertainment platforms
-
Become coaches, mentors, leaders, entrepreneurs, and community role models
-
Give back to others after receiving support themselves
We have had 5+ athletes connected to college pathways and 4+ athletes connected to Division I and/or Team USA-level experiences. We have also worked with athletes, performers, and community members who have gone on to be part of major sports, entertainment, media, dance, performance, and athletic platforms.
Our story includes work connected to NFL, NBA, NHL, soccer, cheer, dance, gymnastics, adaptive sports, schools, colleges, recreation centers, daycares, Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCA, Make-A-Wish, I Have A Dream Foundation, community events, and other youth-centered and family-centered spaces.
We have performed, competed, and represented tumbling on major stages, including professional sports events, national and world-level cheer and tumbling platforms, college nationals, community showcases, America’s Got Talent, Harlem Globetrotters-related performances, NBA-related performances, and international opportunities.
This is why we say: we can show you better than we can tell you.

Representation Matters
Mile High Tumblers 5280 is a Black-led, community-centered program that believes representation matters.
Many of our athletes and families need to see people who look like them, understand them, believe in them, and are willing to fight for their opportunities. At the same time, our doors are open to everyone. We believe in bringing people together across race, culture, religion, income level, ability, age, background, and life experience.
We are building a place where youth and adults can feel seen, supported, challenged, respected, and inspired.
This program gives our athletes something positive to look up to and work toward. They do not just see a coach telling them what to do. They see people actively building, performing, leading, creating businesses, giving back, and showing what is possible when you stay consistent and believe in the bigger vision.
Community Partnerships & Resources
We continue to work with and build connections through community programs, schools, recreation centers, youth organizations, health and wellness partners, funding resources, and family support systems.
This includes connections and pathways we worked with and through over the years:
-
MySpark
-

-
Medicaid-related resources where eligible
-
Rocky Mountain Health-related pathways
-
YMCA
-
Boys & Girls Clubs
-

We have also worked with adaptive athletes and individuals with different abilities, including people with prosthetic limbs or life experiences that required them to rebuild confidence, movement, and trust in their bodies.
We believe movement can be healing. Tumbling, fitness, performance, and community can give people an outlet when they need something positive to help them mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Why Sponsors, Donors & Supporters Matter
Sponsors, donors, partners, and community supporters help us do more than keep the lights on.
They help us create access.
They help us lower costs.
They help us support families.
They help us buy equipment.
They help us provide uniforms and gear.
They help us bring in coaches and mentors.
They help us expand into schools.
They help us give youth something positive to do.
They help us create jobs, internships, and leadership opportunities.
They help us create hope.
When people support Mile High Tumblers 5280, they are not just donating to a program. They are investing in children, families, future leaders, future athletes, future coaches, future entrepreneurs, and future community builders.

Final Message
This is about more than fundraising.
This is about giving back, paying it forward, creating access, building confidence, supporting families, hiring more coaches, creating jobs, expanding into schools and communities, and making sure our athletes and families have opportunities they may not have had otherwise.
You all mean the world to me, and we are working hard to make sure this program continues to care for our athletes, families, and community.
Every ticket sold, every shoe purchased, every donation made, every sponsor connected, every referral shared, and every family supported helps us continue building this platform.
We are not just raising money.
We are building athletes.
We are building leaders.
We are building families.
We are building confidence.
We are building opportunity.
We are building community.
We are inspiring the world, one flip and movement at a time.
